Chapter 2

Payton Sorensen woke up on Saturday morning, immediately reminded by her nudity the horrifying predicament she wished had only been a dream. She wasn’t even allowed to wear pajamas. The girl pulled the sheets over her head, refusing to wake up.

“Wake up sleepy head,” her mother’s cheery voice woke her up once again. “It’s nearly 10, you’re usually out playing soccer with the neighborhood boys by now.”

“I don’t want to go today!”

“Such a young energetic girl shouldn’t be cooped up inside all day,” Sabrina insisted. “Get out and go play with your friends.” She knew exactly why her middle daughter didn’t want to get out of bed. “Come on. Up!” She yanked back the covers and tapped Payton’s naked bottom. Reluctantly the girl pushed herself up and climbed out of bed.

“Do I really have to go outside?” Payton asked, fearing she already knew the answer.

“Yes and don’t make me aftellen you again,” Sabrina told her daughter. Payton was already putting on her shoes and socks, the only two articles of clothing she had left.

“We should think of something neat to do with your closet now that you don’t need it for clothes,” Sabrina noted, looking in the direction of her walk-in closet.
