ViR/1
I finished the last episode of Star Trek: Voyager for the fourth time, watching it all the way through, and I was only 7 years old. My parents were not very happy about me watching it so much, but they decided that it was better than other things, so they let me.
I turned off my mom's computer, which I was watching it on, I didn't have a computer of my own yet. It was time for bed, so I kissed my parents goodnight, and headed off to my quarters... I mean bedroom. I forgot to get changed into my pajamas before going to bed, so I slept in normal clothes.
I fell asleep, wearing a black skirt, that went to my upper thighs, I liked short skirts, sometimes even shorter than what I was wearing. I didn't wear them for any sexual reason, just because I like the freedom in my legs. I even sometimes didn't wear underwear, not because of sexual desire, but because I like for my crotch to be able to breathe.
I was currently not wearing underwear, just my skirt, and a shirt. The shirt was a normal t-shirt, short sleeves, it was light pink. I went to bed at 10 PM, that was my bedtime, I was almost never allowed to stay up past it, except on my birthday, I would be allowed to stay up till midnight.
I woke up with a headache, I opened my eyes and was about to check what time it was, but I noticed something strange. I noticed, that I was no longer in my room, I was in a room that looked very industrial, I recognized it, but I didn't know where it was.
I stood up, and walked out from behind a gray box, then I froze. I heard a low humming sound, I turned to look, and saw something that almost made my heart skip a beat. I looked at it and immediately recognized it, as Seven of Nine's Borg regeneration alcove.
I was in shock, where was I? Was I on Voyager? Or was I on the set? Or was I dreaming? I had so many questions, and I finally deduced that I was on Voyager, when I saw someone. Seven was in her alcove, she had just finished regenerating.
She stepped out of her alcove and immediately looked at me. I froze in fear, not necessarily because she was Borg, but because she was staring at me. "Identify yourself." She said, she hadn't fully gotten a good look at me, she assumed I was Naomi.
My heart was beating twice as fast as it should have been, at least. When I didn't identify myself, she started walking towards me, I ran. I ran behind cargo containers and eventually hid inside one of them.
"Computer, locate Naomi Wildman." Naomi Wildman is in the mess hall. "Seven of Nine to security, we may have an intruder in cargo bay 2." I was now visibly shaking, she called security on me, how was I gonna get out of this?
She started searching in and around cargo containers, trying to find me. She opened the one that I was in, saw me, and said, "Who are you?" I didn't say anything, I was just completely frozen. She reached for me and picked me up out of the box, though she picked me up as if I was an object, not a person.
She place me on the ground, hoping that I would say something if I wasn't being held. I ran, I ran out of cargo bay 2, I knew the layout pretty well, so I ran down corridors. I saw two security officers coming my way, they saw me, I ran the other way. I saw Seven cornering me from the other side.
I went ran towards Seven at full sprint, and right before I reached her, I fell onto my butt and slid on the floor beside her. I did that intentionally, of course, it made my skirt go uo, though. I stood up, and ran the other way, I made it to a turbo lift, and I went up.
I went to deck 1, at least I could talk with Janeway, and maybe she can tell me what is going on. I reached the bridge, she was not there, so I ran to her ready room, she wasn't there either. I ran back onto the bridge, someone with a phaser was coming toward me.
I ran toward the helm, they fired at me and missed, I double back and ran straight for the turbo lift. I made it and said, "Deck 2." The turbolift closed before the guy with the phaser came in. I made it to deck two, then calmed down and said, "Computer, locate Kathryn Janeway." Captain Kathryn Janeway is in her quarters.
I went to deck 3, I ran towards Janeway's quarters, and then I entered. I probably had no authorization to enter, but I did anyway, she was sitting on her bed, drinking a coffee, she was in uniform. She looked up at me when I entered, "Who are you?" She asked, obviously very confused, but she saw that I was a child, and human, so she didn't call security.
Though they came anyway, three security officers came in, phasers at the ready, Janeway immediately stood up, held her hand up, signalling them to stop, and said, "Hold your fire." They did as ordered, and didn't fire, but they did keep the phasers on me.
I hadn't turned around yet, since they entered, I slowly turned and saw them pointing phasers at me. Janeway sat back down and asked again, "So, who are you?"
"Umm, well, I think I am from another timeline, because in my world, you guys are fictional characters... I came from the early 21st century, in my timeline, you guys are in a show called, 'Star Trek.' I have watched every episode of that show, like hundreds of times, I know everything about your ship."
She just stared at me, then eventually said, "We were in a show, in the 21st century, called Star Trek... I'm sorry, I don't believe you, even if it is an alternate timeline."
"Well, the show that you guys are in, is called, Star Trek Voyager, 'cause, well, you are Voyager... there are other Star Trek shows, they are about a many different ships in the federation." I knew she wouldn't believe me, if I was in her position, I wouldn't either.
"Ok, so assuming this is all true..." she said, "how did you get here? Well, even if it's not."
"Umm..." I had no idea, so I just stared at her, me not saying that I didn't know, actually made her suspicious of me, and assume that I did something that I wasn't supposed to. "I... uhh, have no idea..."
She was still suspicious, due to my long hesitation, but she tried her best to ignore it, and give me the benefit of the doubt. "Well, do you know anything? What were you doing before you magically came here?"
She obviously didn't believe me, just from that sentence, I knew it. "Well, I went to bed last night- well, about 350 years ago, and I woke up here. By the way, when exactly are we?"
She said a star date, which was equivalent to 2376, season 5. "You went to bed, and woke up here... really?" She seemed like she was trying her best to believe me, she wanted to, but she couldn't, well, I wouldn't have believed me either, except I remember it.
She took a sip of her coffee, it was cold, and she looked disgusted. She stood up and replicated a new cup, this one was plenty hot, she took a sip and sat back down on her bed. She was sitting near the head of the bed, she gestured next to herself, and said, "Please, sit down."
I sat down where she had gestured, I was now about a foot away from her. She grabbed my chin, turned my face from side to side, seeming to be inspecting me, I didn't resist. She let go, letting my head go back to a normal direction, "What is your name?"
I almost laughed, realizing that I never told her my name, but I held it in. "Natalie Wildman... yes, Wildman, like Naomi, and Samantha, but not." She chuckled and smiled.
"Well, Natalie, I really want to believe you... but your story, is way too weird, I don't see how it could be possible." I didn't blame her, "But, since you are human, and you seem to be alone, welcome to Voyager."
"Thanks..." I smiled, though I did want to go home eventually, was I stuck here forever?
Janeway stood up and gestured for security to leave, but first, she said, "Relay a message and get someone to prepare quarters for Natalie. Also, someone get Tuvok." They all left. Janeway told me to sit down, I did, she stood in front of me.
I noticed that she was no longer holding her coffee, I wondered where it went. I looked around and saw the coffee on a small table across the room, I was slightly confused as to how she got it there without me noticing, but I didn't really care.
She walked to her replicator, replicated a comm badge, then did something to it, presumably to link it to me if someone tried to locate me. She gave me the comm badge, I put it on my shirt where they put it, and smiled.
Tuvok came in, Janeway smiled and said to him, "I want you to keep a 24 hour security detail on her, at least one officer at all times." He nodded and left, she turned to me, "Nothing personal."
"It's ok, you did it to Seven too, though she was Borg, but it's fine, I understand." I smiled and she gestured for me to leave, but I didn't really know where to go, so I just left and started walking down the hallway, so that she would think I was going somewhere.
