What was that buzzing sound? Why was it so dark?

Sally sat up and her memory snapped back into focus. Oh! Her alarm, the pictures. She quickly picked up her phone and tried to silence it. She had a little trouble with this as the phone was showing two alerts on top of each other or something, but she eventually got it it shut off. At first that made her nervous, but after waiting a couple minutes she still heard no sounds in the house and concluded that she had avoided waking anyone else.

Since she was already naked, and her goal was to take a naked picture, she saw no reason to get dressed and snuck downstairs as she was. Finding her way around the dark house was a little tricky, but she was extra careful and avoided any accidents. After a moment's consideration, she decided the back yard was the obvious place to do this. It didn't have as many windows as the front, but it was a lot less likely to attract attention, so she made her way through the kitchen and out the back door.

Needless to say, being naked in the night air was a new experience for her. It was exciting, but also chilly! But she had a mission, she told herself. So she wasted no time pointing her phone at the window and trying to get a picture. She was half tempted to run back inside, but first she had to check how the picture came out.

Awful. It looked like a ghost with a glowing blob for a head standing in her kitchen. A naked ghost, if you really looked close, but it sure didn't look anything like the nudist pictures she was trying to emulate.

Sally sat down to think about what went wrong (and almost jumped when she felt the grass on the butt for the first time). That well-fed guy said windows worked as mirrors as long as it was dark on the other side... she had confirmed it during the day. And looking at her window now it was definitely dark inside, so why wasn't it working?
