Unrelated to the scene at hand, but did you know that Emily has another cousin at school? Nymphadora Tonks is a 7th year Hufflepuff. Maybe she's a prefect in this universe? Perhaps Emily could attempt to steer her away from her Auror internship? (Having access to Voldy's memories, she can see how much her family has been a thorn in his side.) This would possibly open up an opportunity for Emily to gain access to her aunt Andromeda.
