Janet and John are talking to two other children about the same age as them. A boy in shorts, but no shirt, and a girl with her long hair tied in a tail at the back, wearing a skirt and top, the same as Janet. John is in shorts and a T-shirt. They are all wearing sandals.
The other children are called Alice and David.
"What's it like here," John asks.
"We are glad you came. There aren't any other children here," Alice says.''
"There are some swings and things over there," David says, pointing.
"I wonder what adventures they will have in this book," you say to Stevie. Actually, it's a bit boring so far, so you turn the page.
