Life Hacks/Go shopping at the mall with Brittany
You easily catch the keys. You could use a wardrobe upgrade, but you only have $35. That would get you a shirt . . . maybe. with your newfound skills, making money wouldn't be a problem, given time. You don't really have the time to make money on the way out the door though.
"Umm, Brittany," you say, "one issue. I only have thirty-five dollars."
"Ever heard of plastic," she responds waving her Sanction Card. "Just pay me back when you can."
"Mom gave you that for emergencies," you respond.
"Well, this is a fashion emergency. No more excuses." She pushes you out the door. "We're going shopping, and that's that!"
"Okay, okay, I'm going."
You are outside shortly thereafter, getting into the driver's side of your sister's Fjord Fission. You were a little shaky on your driving before, but you seem to be adjusting the seat and mirrors automatically, with practiced ease even . . . without the practice. It's only a ten minute drive to the mall, but you find your sudden mastery of driving to be exhilarating. Brittany is catching you up on the goings-on in her life, and you are completely capable of maintaining the conversation with her, and controlling the vehicle perfectly without any apparent trouble on either front.
You find a decently close parking spot, and ease the sedan in. Within moments you are in the mall heading to a clothing outlet, likely the first of many you will visit today, when you spot an advertisement for a VR headset. Your brain instantly leaps to a solution to your "spazzing" issue.
"Augmented Reality Glasses!" you blurt out. With the glasses on anyone seeing you would assume you were interacting with the glasses UI while you were using the Life Controller UI. It was so obvious a solution you can't imagine why it took you so long to think of.
"No no no," says Brittany pushing you past the electronics store. "We need to get away from the geek and go toward chic."
