Sex Therapy/Detailed Intro
It was a typical day, I was working from home surrounded by screens, running through some of my latest designs in solidworks. Of course a few of the screens are for gaming or my less accepted web activities, I didn’t have to worry about what I did at home, I lived alone. Through a lucky break I ended up with a solitary lot after everything around it was declared protected wetlands. When I built the house I still had delusions that I would one day get married and stop being a pedo. So I designed myself a 4 bedroom two story home. It’s a modern design with my office, kitchen, great room and a guest bedroom and bath on the first floor. The top floor has two more bedroom’s a bathroom and the master suite, though I’ve converted one of the room to a workout room. A lot of space I know but I enjoy the privacy.
The TV was on in the background as i worked, typically it is just mindless background noise but my interest peaked it was an interview with Dr. Britnall. She is the one who had been researching trauma in child sex abuse. Her first study was shocking and controversial, it concluded first that children as young as six could consent to sex in certain situations, and that in the case of consensual sex with a child the trauma wasn’t caused by the sex acts themselves but later by the reaction of the adults who discovered it. That had been a few years ago, it was very controversial at first but after much debate and replication by other researchers around the world the principles were gaining traction especially in the academic world. No laws had changed (a few European countries had made slight adjustments but child sex was still essentially under a global ban) but attitudes were beginning to shift.
Anyway in the interview she was discussing studies done in Europe that seemed to show some benefits of sex with adults for girls suffering from various issues. They had studied it for depression, anxiety, eating disorders and even side effect management in cancer patients. The results seemed positive based on what she was saying. Given my pedophillic tendencies I was quite excited to say the least.
Then she dropped a bombshell, she was planning on starting a similar study, she couldn’t disclose the study details or even what conditions they were looking at but she was happy to announce that Yale had come to agreement with both the state and federal governments on a framework for operating the study that balanced protection of the children with flexibility necessary to get accurate results from the research. The recruiting for the study would be handled privately and she asked that parties not reach out to her directly, they wanted to ensure privacy for all involved so most details wouldn’t be released until the study was complete.
This meant the post I had seen in one of my favorite forums might actually be real. I figured it was a typical LEO fishing expedition. I searched for it and found it again.

It continued with a bunch of boilerplate disclaimers then the link. I figured it was at least worth doing a screening, what did I have to lose. If this was Dr Britnall’s study, participating could be quite fun, why would I even need to be compensated. Surprisingly there was a time available for a screening that afternoon. I booked it, saved the link I was supposed to go to at the appointed time and waited. I immediately began to second guess my decision, security was always top of my mind. I couldn’t think of anything else so I went out on my balcony and paced as I thought. I stared out into the forest ruminating how I got to this point until it was time for the interview.
The interview was very detailed, they started off building trust by confirming this was the study at Yale with Dr. Britnall. Then they ran me through a battery of psychological testing, personality tests etc. at the end I was told that I had passed the initial screening but needed to complete a few more critical steps before being formally accepted into the study. They sent me a bunch of paperwork to fill out, to allow them to see my medical records, do a background check, verify my education and of course stacks of waivers. Last there was an order for STI testing that I needed to get done at a local lab with the results being sent to them. If all was well after this I would receive a packet of information with further directions and information.
It took about 3 weeks for everything to get done and the information packet to arrive. It had contact info for various people at the clinic running the study, the date and time I needed to report for my first meeting and a book “Crash Course in Sexual Therapy for Children”. Most importantly there were signed letters granting me immunity from prosecution from the Connecticut attorney general and US attorney. They were each over 20 pages long of legal speak but after consulting my lawyer it seemed they were more than adequate. In his words “these are much broader than I expected” so anything I did related to the study was covered, it certainly wasn’t a license screw any child I wanted but it seems I was covered for anyone in the study. I Just had to wait three days until my appointment.
