Chapter 6: Problems

It took a week. You don't know all the details, but Mum collected Amy and a bin bag of shabby clothes a week after that first visit. She offered to take Brian as well, but he said he said he was going to stay with a friend.

With six bedrooms and three bathrooms, your house is big enough that Amy could have had a room to herself, but she has never slept alone in her life, so she generally ends up in your bed. Giving in to the inevitable, Dad buys you a bigger bed, so it seems it'll be a permanent arrangement. There is some talk about adoption and Social Services, so she does have a room and keeps her (new) clothes and other stuff in there, but every night, I find her curled up in "our" bed and almost every night, we have a nice fuck before we go to sleep. The only problem is that Milly is jealous. She's been so used to having you and Dad all to herself, that she resents the amount of time I spend with her rival.

As part of the adoption process, we get a visit from some guy from Social Services to check that we are a suitable family for Amy. One day, when you get home from school, a strange man is drinking tea at the kitchen table. It is obviously a surprise visit because Milly is in her highchair eating Greek yoghurt, naked as usual. The man seemed to like Milly and made faces at her to make her giggle. He also dropped his teaspoon on the floor twice. Later on, Mum said that he did it on purpose so that he could peek at Milly's pussy.

After he leaves, Mum asks you whether you would mind if we took on some more children. "It's called fostering," she says and she explains that most of them would only be for a few days or weeks. You shrug. "Maybe there will be some pretty girls," you think.
