Stranded on an Island With a Little Girl/Chapter 1
He was lying face down on the sand. How had he gotten here? Where was this place? These questions ran through his mind as he groggily got up as if he had woken up from a deep sleep. He was on a beach. The sea was slowly lapping the sand. After sitting and resting for a while, he remembered the tremors they had experienced on the ship. Yes, yes, he remembered. He was going somewhere, where was it? He couldn't immediately recognize where he was going, but he remembered the moment when their ship had been washed away by the waves. And he himself had gotten on top of the waves and grabbed onto a board and I think he had drifted all the way to this island. He must have fainted because he had no memory of anything after that. He stood up and started looking around along the beach. What was that? It looked like there was someone up ahead. Someone was lying on the sand. He must have been unconscious. He ran over and his eyes lit up as he looked at the body on the ground. It was a little girl, but she looked like an angel. An innocent look of fear remained on her face. Her clothes were torn and one of her breasts was exposed. John, that was the name of our character, couldn't stop looking at her. So much so that he forgot to check if she was alive. The girl's coughing made it unnecessary for him to do so. When she coughed, John leaned over and lifted his head. She coughed some more and vomited water.
“It's nothing, it's okay.”
The girl opened her eyes, but surprise covered her whole face. When she saw him, her expression became filled with fear and she screamed and tried to get away from him, half drunk.
“Stop, stop! Calm down! We had a shipwreck and came to this island. Don't worry, it's okay now.”
The girl was still swallowing and coughing intermittently from the water in her throat. Her fearful gaze still hadn't subsided. It took her a while to understand and think about what he said.
“The ship... Did the ship sink?”
“I guess.”
She looked at him with tears in her eyes after that answer.
“What about them? What about my parents?”
He didn't know what to say. He didn't want to say something.
“Since we survived, maybe they are around here too.”
The girl's tears filled her eyes and she started to cry. The man did not know what to do. He approached her. He waited for a while while she cried. Then he came closer and hugged her. At the same time he hugged her, she hugged him back, grabbing him tightly. She covered her face with his shirt and cried louder. They waited like that for a while.
“Well... I'm sure they're fine. But if we don't do something, it will be nightfall and we'll be out in the open.”
She looked up at him and nodded in agreement. When she lowered her gaze and saw her dress, noticed her exposed breast and fearfully covered it with her hand. John averted his gaze as she did so.
“Well... Let's see if there's anything to wear.”
When he looked towards the sea, a suitcase caught his eye by chance. He quickly went into the sea, grabbed the suitcase and came to the girl and opened it.
“Ooo! There are lots of clothes here. You might want to take a t-shirt”
She hesitantly looked in the suitcase and picked up a white T-shirt.
“Well, can you not look?”
“Sure.”
The man was a little embarrassed. He turned around. The girl turned around and took off her clothes. John couldn't resist a quick glance and his eyes widened. Her bare back was in front of him. When she put on the T-shirt, her breasts were slightly visible around the edges. After a quick glance, he quickly turned his head away.
By evening they had built themselves a small hut. John had collected the leaves from the coconut trees and made two beds. After eating the coconuts they had picked, they both lay down on their beds and fell asleep.
John woke up with the sun in his eyes. The girl was still asleep. John couldn't stop looking at her. She was about 11 or 12 years old. He watched her for a while and then went outside.
After some time the girl came out of the hut rubbing her eyes. John was outside trying to make a fire.
“Oh, you're awake. How are you?”
The girl waited silently and did not answer.
“Did you sleep well?”
She nodded her head yes.
“Good! I was going to cook those fish I caught, come here if you want.”
She approached him.
“What's your name? I'm John.”
“Beste.”
“Beste. What a beautiful name you have.”
She smiled shyly. John had finally lit the fire.
“It's finally lit. Pass me those leaves and pieces of wood.”
Beste grabbed the leaves and pieces of wood next to her and handed them to him. Her eyes opened wide when she saw the fire growing.
“Now that we have a fire, we can cook the fish.”
“Are we having fish for breakfast?”
“I thought of this while wandering in the sea, it'll be fine.”
