From All The Fallen Stories

“Why do I have to change schools?” Yuu asked, upset. “I know this is hard, but the letter we received from this school was an invitation specifically for you, not just an ad,” Natsu explained. “But seriously? A private school?” Yuu countered. “You know that I have nothing but respect for the public school system, but this school might be what you need. It just opened up, it's nearby, and in looking for prospective students, your transcript crossed their desks. They can see from your test scores that you're smart; it's just your grades that are awful. They think their approach to teaching can help you, and they're offering free tuition for you to prove it. I guess that they figure that if they hand out free tuition to a couple of students early on to get them in the door, and are able to hold those students up as success stories, they can charge a premium for later students. At any rate, maybe the change will be good for you.” Yuu could only harumph into a nearby couch as a reply.

Natsu sat down next to him. “Look, I get that it's a hard change to make. You're leaving behind everybody you've been going to school with since you were a kid. But you know I only want what's best for you.” Yuu continued to look away without saying anything. “How about this; I know that Minako invited your band over here to practice today. After they've left, you and I will go out and get a bite to eat, and while we're out we can take some gyms together in Pokemon Go. Does that sound alright?” Yuu turned to Natsu apologetically. “Yeah, it does. I'm sorry I'm being difficult, Mom.” “Alright then. I've got to take care of a couple chores, but I expect to hear you all while I'm working.”

Natsu sat at the family room computer. She didn't know what to make of what she was seeing. Over the last week and a half or so she'd been finding erotic stories left open in the internet browser. That wasn't what was so shocking, though; she'd caught porn in Yuu's internet search history a few times when he was younger and before he'd gotten good at cleaning up after himself, and held no illusions that he didn't still look.

No, the shocking part was that these stories were all focused on mother and son incest. There were a few that involved a sister as well, but the overall theme was unmistakable. She had initially assumed it was Yuu, and in fact she was trying to psych herself up for a very awkward conversation with him, but realized that was impossible after she found another when Yuu had been out all day with his friend Mark. This had also made her reconsider – Yuu had been more careful than that for several years now.

Which left her wondering, which one of her daughters was looking this up?

After the fifth one – the first one that had included a sister – she had read through it to try and make a guess. She had come away from it with no better an idea who had been leaving these out, and very surprised at just how turned on she had gotten. She had read every single one since, telling herself that it was to try and guess who was leaving them out. She wasn't willing to admit to herself that she was enjoying them.

She finished the story, and sighed as she closed the browser window. She considered the notebook she had found the day before – it was filled with the songs Yuu was writing for his band. Minako had told her that since he was the lead singer, Yuu was in charge of coming up with lyrics. Every song had turned out humorous, even the rather heartfelt one at the front of the notebook. What surprised Natsu most about them was the fact that most of them were also rather sexual in nature; one of them was a song about a guy getting rejected by a girl he liked and responds by accepting her friendship – and continuously masturbating around her. Another was about a guy in a long term relationship claiming he was getting to know his girlfriend better by having sex with every object in her house. Those, coupled with the stories that were being left open on the computer, were forcing her to think about Yuu as having a sex drive – something she had never really thought about before, even when she had caught him looking at porn. She even remembered when she chickened out and asked her mother to be the one to give him 'the talk'. She thought to herself that Yuu is old enough to be interested in sex, and then scolded herself for missing what should have been obvious; after all, she reminded herself, she already had two children when she was his age.

She gave up trying, for the time being, to think about who was leaving these stories out, and left to go get some drinks ready for the group tuning up in the garage.

Natsu cracked open the door and peeked through. She had been told this was a costumed band, and she was disappointed to see that nobody had gotten dressed up in them for rehearsal. They were just finishing catching up with each other, and one of them asked if they should start with a cover. “Let's do 'You Spin Me Round Like a Record'!” Minako said, smiling. “You know, when I was younger, I thought this song was about spinning around until you got sick,” Yuu said. “Turns out it's about fucking.” Natsu stayed behind the door listening, not wanting to interrupt while they were in the middle of a song. As Yuu got through the first verse, she began to blush. 'Why did he so pointedly have to mention that the song was about sex?' she thought to herself.

After what felt like an hour, the band finally finished up the song. Natsu pushed the door to the garage open, and walked in. “It's sounding great in here!” she said, handing out drinks and trying not to think about how red her face was a moment ago. The band thanked her for the drinks, and just as she stepped through the door to leave, Minako made a small hand signal to everyone else.

Just as the door was almost closed, one of the other band members said, “Dude, your Mom is hot! We should practice here more often!” Hearing this made Natsu freeze in place with her hand on the door, leaving it ever so slightly cracked. She held her breath; if she was quiet enough, she thought, they'd think she'd continued on back, deeper into the house. Another band member laughed and shouted, “Look! He's blushing!” “Guys, she's my Mom!” Yuu said, exasperated. “Come on,” the first band member said, “No straight guy could disagree that she's hot, even if she's their mom.” The band continued to taunt Yuu for a moment before he finally said, “Yes, I agree, she's hot, okay? Now can we please move on?”

Natsu's heart stopped in her chest momentarily. Did he really think she was hot, she thought to herself, or did he just say that to stop the teasing? She wasn't sure why, but for whatever reason she felt like she needed to know the answer to that. She stood there without moving as she listened to the next song; clearly one of the band's original songs, as it was a humorous song about awkward boners. After the song, she went off into the house to continue on chores and start psyching herself up to ask Yuu if he was serious or not.

Yuu and Natsu sat in a parking lot, training at a gym so that they could each leave one of their Pokemon in it. As they finally got ready to leave, Natsu spoke up. “So, I overheard something earlier, and I hope you're not too upset with me.” “What is it?” Yuu asked.

Natsu took a deep breath and asked, “Do you think I'm hot?”

Yuu flushed bright red and started shifting in his seat. “Oh, you overheard that... Umm... Well... if I'm honest... yeah. I do.”

Natsu blushed a little and smiled, “I'm sorry to put you on the spot, I don't mean anything by it. It's a huge self-esteem boost to know that guys still think I'm attractive, though.” She leaned over and gave Yuu a peck on the forehead. “Let's head home, ok?” she said, before driving off. As they pulled out of the parking lot, she added, “By the way, I doubt you know, but have either of your sisters mentioned anything about what they've been looking up online lately?” Yuu just said he didn't know anything, and Natsu left it at that.
