A Loli's ENF Adventure/Sally/Bath/Mother/Bluff/DoIt/Dad/Stubborn/Long
Sally woke to the smell of sausage. She felt comfortable and refreshed. She also remembered it was Sunday, so she didn't really have to get up in a hurry, but breakfast smelled good, so with a yawn and a stretch she hopped out of bed and started downstairs. When she rounded the bottom of the stairway, she saw the rest of her family already sitting around the table, and gave them a slightly groggy "Good morning."
But almost immediately she got a sense that something was wrong. Of the three, only her brother, who sat facing away, had said "good morning" back. Her parents were just looking at her. She thought her father was smirking a bit, and her mother looked concerned. But whatever was going on, she still wanted breakfast so she made her way to the table and sat down. It was only then that anyone else spoke. Her father, Ryan finally gave her a "Good morning, Pumpkin.", but her mother was still silent. Maybe it was nothing, but it still seemed like everyone was acting oddly.
Sally saw she had already been dished out a bowl of grits, so she added three links of sausage to this and started cutting them up like she usually did. Something was definitely off though; no one was talking, or eating either. Sally looked to her brother and found him grinning broadly. He gave her a little nod and then looked away. She couldn't take it anymore and finally said something. "Did I miss something? You guys are all acting weird this morning."
Her mother, Ava was first to respond. "We're acting weird? None of us decided to flash our private parts at breakfast, did we?"
Suddenly the previous day's events came back to Sally, especially her decision just before bed. She remembered holding up two of her longer shirts in front of herself. The green one just barely covered her private place, while the cream colored shirt just barely didn't. She had selected the second, as the first felt too much like admitting defeat. And a quick glance down confirmed she was indeed wearing that not-quite-decent shirt, though now that she was seated, you couldn't really see anything, besides an awful lot of leg.
Sally tried to think fast. Right, this was her plan. She'd completely forgotten, but that meant she probably looked totally causal as she came down to breakfast. That was good! It was no less embarrassing for having done it on purpose, but she was determined to keep up the ruse as long as it was necessary. "Oh, that.", she said, trying to keep her voice neutral. "I thought we settled that yesterday."
No one immediately knew what to say to that, which gave Sally enough time for a bite of grits and sausage. She didn't particularly feel like eating anymore, but she figured it was the thing to do.
But after a long moment her father spoke again. "Well, I did say you could keep dressing like that, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's 'settled'. I think your mother and I would both like a better explanation of why you've decided to... make this unique fashion statement." Ava nodded at this.
Sally really wished she'd given that more thought. She should have known they'd want still what an explanation. But all she could think of was to keep pretending she didn't think it was strange at all. So she just gave the first justification that came to mind. "It's not that unusual. I mean lots of cartoons only wear shirts for instance. What's the big deal if I do it too?"
Ryan couldn't help but laugh at that. But it was clear he wasn't going to get a real answer this way. He'd have to try something else. "Well, maybe you need some time to think about it. That's alright. Let's just finish breakfast."
It was the second most awkward meal anyone could recall, beaten only by the previous day's breakfast. But eventually everyone finished eating, albeit with very little of the chatter they'd usually have around the breakfast table on a weekend. Sally was kind of hoping everyone else would finish and drift off to other activities, so she wouldn't have to expose herself to them all again. But she had no such luck, it seemed they were waiting to see what she'd do. So finally, Sally excused herself and started heading for the stairs. There was no avoiding showing everyone her ass, but she was careful to avoid any more than that.
But that's when Ryan made his move. "Sally, hold up. We're not quite done talking about this."
Sally stopped, but didn't turn to face him, which of course he noticed. "Oh, what else did you want to say?", she asked. Sally was struggling to maintain her composure by this point. Why couldn't they just let leave and get dressed already?
"Like I said before, I figured you need some time to think about this. So here's the deal, you head on up to your room and do that. But I want to see you in the living room at, let's say 10 o'clock. And Sally, if you're serious about this, I expect to see you dressed the same way. And I expect an explanation. Or... if by chance you reconsider, just get dressed normally and we'll put all this behind us."
Sally didn't like this at all. But she wasn't sure what to do yet, so she just squeaked out an "Okay, dad." and hurried up the stairs.
She almost ran to her room, then quickly closed the door and sat down on her bed. She felt intensely aware of the sheets on her bare butt. How had it been so easy to forget when she woke up? Now she couldn't think about anything else. But she had to think about it anyway, if she wanted to save her pride. Her father had really called her bluff now.
She looked down at herself, pulling up her shirt slightly to look at her girl parts. She didn't really think about them much; as far as she knew, they were mostly just for peeing, which wasn't very interesting. She wondered if that was a good reason to keep them covered up. She supposed pee was a little bit gross, but it's not like she didn't wipe afterwards, so they weren't actually dirty. And they really didn't look like much of anything she thought, just a little bump with a slit in the middle. Still, she'd been told all her life she was supposed to keep them hidden. What reason could she give for going against that?
She could just accept her father's offer to forget the whole thing, but wouldn't that basically be admitting her original mistake? She'd come this far, and giving up now wasn't appealing. But otherwise, she needed a reason. What it was didn't seem to matter much. He already said she was allowed to do it... she just needed some kind of explanation. All she'd done so far was bluff and deflect the question.
So, after much thought, Sally decided to:
