The young girl listened to her retreating footsteps, still holding the wet towel to her naked frame. Once she no longer heard any footsteps she let out a sigh of her relief, her heart beating a little faster than normal from both being startled and from the stimulation she was feeling mere moments ago. Walking around the changing screen she approached a laundry chute in the wall next to a large cabinet and, without thinking, threw her towel down the hatch to the laundry room below and turned to put on her nightgown, only to not see it anywhere.
It was only then that she realized what she told her servant.
Did I really say to put it in my room!? What was I thinking!? Now I have to walk all the way there in a towel! And I just threw the largest one we have down the chute too! Oh, what have I done...
Unbeknownst to poor Larissa, this was the curse that the fairy had placed upon her; a curse of embarrassment. And for a girl who's just discovered her senses of modesty and shame, what better way to cause embarrassment than to leave her prepubescent body bare for all to see; such as (in this case) tricking Larissa into sending away the two things that provide her with the most cover and only realizing what she's done when it's too late.
Trying not to panic Larissa turned towards the cabinet, beginning to worry that she had nothing to cover herself in as she recalled hearing the maids this morning mention washing most of the towels that evening. She sent a glance to the cord by the door she could pull that rung a bell downstairs to summon a servant, but quickly shook that thought aside fearing what would happen if a butler showed up instead of a maid.
