The need for some more clothes trumped her desire to dispose of her mug, even if it meant talking to more strangers. But, maybe she could still exchange her clasp? Her parents often told her to keep some money on her just in case, and this was a good example of why.

"Um, I think I'll go ask someone for help, but can I still exchange this for some coin? Please?"

Mr. Smitt smiled warmly at her pleading eyes.

"Of course, just give me a moment."

He took the clasp between his long, thin fingers and weighed it in his hand, tossing it over to get a better idea of it's value. After a moment more he opened a draw under the counter and withdrew some coins and slid them into a pouch, setting it alongside an open ledger. As he spoke he began writing in the book, the words sailing right over Luna's head.

"I think... 53 copper should suffice, after factoring in transaction fees and the cost of the pouch. Name?"

"Oh, uh, Luneiris."

"Well Luneiris, I hope you find someone who can help you. Pleasure doing business with you."

He held out the pouch and Luna wasted no time pocketing it. With a nod and a smile she turned and left counter, pausing to examine the patrons, trying to determine who she should ask for help. Immediately she ruled out anyone sitting in a large group, there was just no way she could bring herself to approach that many strangers at once. With that decision made her list of people to ask just got a lot smaller.

The first to catch her eye was a pair of rowdy dwarf men at one of the tables, loudly telling ridiculous stories of what the other did as a kid to the amusement of their audience. Luna was about to write them off due to not wanting the excess attention they draw, but as she watched they finished their beers, which apparently marked the end of stories as everyone returned to what they were doing before while the dwarves talked normally and waited for more drinks. Dwarves tend to be very hospitable, so maybe they'd lend her a hand.

The next person she saw, sitting at the long table that was up against the front windows was an orc. He was massive, as one would expect of an orc, and was idly slipping his drink while busy with a book. Not reading one, but writing in one, much like what Mr. Smitt was doing a moment ago. At his feet laid a large pack with a pale green and gold logo on it, one even a dark elf child such as herself would recognize as the insignia of orcish trading caravans. That meant there's a good chance he had some clothes for sale, or at least knows someone who does.

After him the next individual she saw was a hooded young man, a wood elf judging by the facial feature, pouring over a large book. Judging by the robes he was dressed in and the aura she could sense from him he was undoubtedly a wizard, or a wizard in training to be more accurate. The fact that he was also an elf, albeit a wood elf "cousin," who knew magic instantly took him to the top of her list, but judging by how young he seemed and how hard he was studying, Luna wasn't sure if trusting his magic would be wise.

Turning from him her eyes were drawn to the corner booth where a lone human man sat. He was quite intimidating between the scars on his chin, lips, and cheekbone and the way he just glared around the room. Mr. Smitt claimed nobody here was a criminal, but he still seemed dangerous. Luna was ready to ignore him when she saw a waitress bring him his drink, and without wavering from his stern expression he took his drink and casually tossed a silver coin her way. Scary and dangerous he may be, but if he had no problem tipping someone so much and so casually, surely he must not be that bad.

Unable to find anyone else sitting alone or in pairs, her eyes settled on a group of four sitting at a table, discussion something over a map. They were all men, two humans, one dwarf, and one orc. The humans were dressed in basic cloth armor, one having a sword at his hip and the other bearing the markings of a healer. The dwarf was wearing solid looking metal armor with his helmet resting on the upturned war hammer beside him, while the orc had a huge bow and arrow set attached to the back of his chair. An adventuring party, surely they'll be able to help her somehow.

Who does Luna approach?
