Sally had a sinking feeling she couldn't quite place the second she saw Lori coming. Obviously she knew that you can't just get naked in the middle of a public park, but alarm bells were ringing in the back of her mind, like there was an even bigger problem she was forgetting.
"Look!", cried Lori, doing a little twirl, "I'm a real nudist now, just like you!"
Sally was at a loss for words. She was all for nudism (or so she told herself), but clearly the younger girl had misunderstood how it works. On the other hand, people should be able go anywhere without clothes. Was it really her place to tell Lori differently? She didn't want her friend to get in trouble, but wouldn't she basically be doing the textile prudes' work for them if she convinced her to get dressed?
Rick felt no such conflict. "Holy crap, you both look amazing!" He was grinning ear-to-ear.
Something about that didn't sound right. But Sally still sat there speechless.
"You're a genius! I didn't even know kids could be nudists until I found out from you.", exclaimed Lori as she came running up behind where Sally sat on the bench and gave her a big naked hug. It was only then that she finally caught on. Sally looked down and confirmed her fears. Lori held the hug rather too long, but that might have been for the best, because for several seconds Sally felt like she might have toppled right off the bench had she been left unsupported.
"Are you OK?", Lori finally asked. "You haven't said anything since I got back. I thought you'd be excited."
Sally couldn't believe how badly she messed up this time. Her first inclination was to pretend it was fine, that strategy had served her well recently... kind of. But this was different, she was outside in the middle of town, and to make it even more complicated she now had her friend naked too! She hated to just admit she walked outside naked by accident, that was so stupid! But she had to get out of this somehow, and try to keep Lori out of trouble too if possible.
She also knew she had remained silent too long, and her friends were starting to worry. So when Rick prodded further, she blurted out the first excuse that came to mind.
"Yeah, Sally, what's wrong?"
