"Umm, yeah are guess you're right about that. Might as well.", said Sally.
She didn't really know that much about nudist etiquette, but she didn't figure it made sense to insist on undressing in private, so with only a little trepidation, she pulled her shirt over her head. Rick, and even Lori were watching her now, which made her feel self conscious. Still, Lori was naked, why not her too? She took a deep breath, undid the zipper on her skirt and pulled that over her head too. It was easier than going the other way because she said decided to keep her shoes on.
Sally had forgone underwear as was her habit lately, so she was immediately naked. Rick grinned at the sight. He may have stolen the odd glance at Lori's body as they walked, but Sally couldn't help notice he was staring at her much more intently.
"Sorry", Rick said, realizing he'd been looking a bit too long. "You're really pretty though, it's hard to resist."
This made Sally blush worse than undressing, but it was still nice to hear. However she quickly realized she also had a more practical concern. "I wonder where I should put these. Having to carry my clothes around kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?"
"Oh, good point. I hadn't really thought about that.", said Rick. "I guess you'll want somewhere we can for sure find again, but hidden to make sure no one takes them."
"Exactly.", agreed Sally. Seeing as it was her clothing on the line, she decided she better select a spot personally. There were plenty of places she could hide them, but the trees all looked kind of the same so landmarks were a bit harder to come by. But eventually she spotted something interesting a little further from the trail. It was a large recently fallen tree.
It was definitely distinctive, and the still-leafy branches were a good hiding spot. She placed her top and skirt under what would have been the tree's crown and scattered a few dry leaves over them for good measure. Now confident that her clothes would be waiting for her, she set off on what might be considered her first voluntary naked adventure.
"Now let's find our clubhouse!", she said excitedly. Yes she was nervous too, but with Lori also naked and Rick providing encouragement, she was a lot more confident than usual, and actually took the lead as they started walking further into the woods. Rick was very pleased with this arrangement, although it must be said it significantly hindered his effectiveness at spotting side paths, or much of anything else.
Thus it was Lori who first noticed an overgrown trail leading off to the left. "Hey look! Let's see where this goes." It was just the kind of thing they'd been looking for, and even Rick at least briefly managed to take his attention away from Sally's bare butt to look.
"Looks perfect.", he agreed, and so they took the fork. Though the woods were still not that dense, as they headed further from town it started to take on a more untamed look, with lots undergrowth reducing visibility and sometimes covering the path entirely.
Suddenly Lori came to a stop. "Uh guys, that's not poison ivy, is it?"
"Huh? Oh, no that's just regular ivy.", said Rick. "It's actually an invasive plant, but it's not harmful to people or anything."
"What does it harm then?", asked Sally.
"Trees, mostly. It can, like, strangle them. Look how covered with it they are."
And so the conversation continued for few minutes. Rick was proud to show off his knowledge, and Sally was kind of interested because no one in her family was really outdoorsy like that. Ironically, it was listening to him talk about ivy that distracted her from spotting a vine stretching across the path. She tripped and fell head-first off the path and into a thick patch of the stuff.
"Into" was the operative word, because she fell quite a bit further than expected. Suddenly she found herself suspended upside-down in near darkness, to which she naturally reacted by screaming. From the perspective of the other two, almost looked like Sally had disappeared right in from of them. All they could see were her sneakers sticking out of the ground and kicking frantically.
Rick rushed to her aid, but pulling her out was difficult. She was pretty well tangled, wiggling in a most unhelpful way, and he wasn't really any larger than her. "Are you OK?", he cried.
Sally was not OK. Not emotionally anyway. It was dark and creepy down there, and feeling the vines all over her skin made her uncomfortably aware of her nakedness. Strange-feeling objects she couldn't identify were touching her all over and she didn't like it at all. "I'm not hurt... but I'm stuck and it's gross in here!"
"Lori, give me a hand, get her other leg."
The other girl approached, a little more cautiously because she really didn't wanna fall in too, but she did her best. Unfortunately she didn't have anywhere to stand and also reach Sally. "I can't reach you!"
"Help! Something's on my butt!"
Rick couldn't see anything on her butt, but it was pretty dark down there. He looked at Lori and back to the hole, he could see what needed to happen, but he know Sally wasn't going to like it. "You need to spread you legs more. Like a lot."
"What?" She hadn't even been thinking about her posture before, but after that comment, the fact that the other two kids were looking straight down at her privates suddenly dominated her thoughts. She already felt way too vulnerable, and being so exposed didn't help one bit. Reflexively, she did the opposite of what was asked and clenched her legs together.
Lori could tell what Rick was trying to do and urged Sally to cooperate, though she didn't think to explain why it was necessary. "Noooo, you gotta spread your legs! Don't be embarrassed, we're nudists now, remember?"
Sally suddenly wasn't so sure about nudism being a good idea... but she did really want to get out of that hole, and if her friends both thought spreading her legs was going to help, they were probably right. She closed her eyes and spread her legs as wide as she could, considering she was in a hole. Soon she felt Lori grab her other foot, and slowly she began to rise. But it wasn't long before she felt something else grab her too, right between her legs.
Rick spotted the problem as well. It was just another vine, but it was definitely in the way. "Sally, we're going to have to lower you back down to—" But she cut him off.
"No, keep pulling! Something's got me!"
He wasn't so sure that was a good idea, but Sally was clearly in distress... and heavy too. Better to get her out as quick as possible, he decided. So he and Lori resumed lifting. They had her about halfway out, but that one vine was putting up serious resistance. It looked like it must be uncomfortable too.
And it was. Scared and disoriented as she was, she thought sure she was being bitten by something. But despite her panic, she ended up doing something right. She groped blindly for whatever it might be causing the pain, and tried to pull it off her. The combined effort of the three kids was enough to break the vine. When that happened, she was pulled up rather suddenly, landing ass over elbows in the ivy.
Sally sat there stunned, as Lori tried to help her up and Rick asked if she was alright. She was very embarrassed by the whole mishap, and even more embarrassed at getting embarrassed. That wasn't proper nudist behavior at all...
