Well. being a baby sucked, but maybe a school-age child might have a bit more control over what happens to them. A quick check shows that the local kids wear a basic uniform of white shirt, grey pleated skirt, white socks and black shoes. You decide to be seven, so you are pretty average at about 130cms, and 23kg. Blonde curls and blue eyes seem to be some kind of ideal here so that's it.

The school bus goes past your field, so you just flag it down and climb aboard. You do get some curious looks from the other kids as you show your pass to the driver and find a seat, but they soon go back to whatever they were doing. You sit next to a girl who looks friendly. "Are you new," she asks. You tell her that it's your first day so she volunteers to take you to the office to get registered. Her name is Mandy and you tell her yours is Cathy.

In the future, once computers take over all the record keeping, it would be easy to add yourself to the school role, but in this era, where everything is written down by hand, it can be more tricky. You are prepared though, and have a letter in your bag from a different County explaining why you have just turned up. They will check of course, but that will take weeks, a lot more time than you will need.

The secretary huffs at the paperwork, but eventually takes you to the headmaster. The secretary's office was not much bigger than a cupboard, but the headmaster has a big room with a view of the countryside, and you have to get past another secretary in an outer room first. He is sitting behind a polished wooden desk with a tea set on a silver tray. You get a hard wooden upright chair to sit on while he asks you to repeat the (fictional) story you are using. Naturally you smile and simper and let your skirt, which is pretty short anyway, ride up your thighs as he pontificates about "School Values", and "Objectives".

"So you are staying with your grandfather are you," he says.

"Uh, Oh, Err yes," you say, having almost nodded off.

"And you are an orphan?"

"Yes sir."

"Good... Err... That's very sad. Still, you're a pretty girl, and your last school gave you high marks for just about everything, so you should fit in well here." He rings a little brass bell and his secretary comes in. He tells her to take you to Mr Beeton's class and off you go.

In the class, Mr Beeton is sitting behind a desk up on a kind of stage. The children are all sitting behind desks in nice straight rows and of course, they all look at you. You are handed over and sat at a desk in the front of the room. You are pleased to see that you are sitting next to Mandy. Mr Beeton takes you through some simple sums and then it's time for break. You all have to go into the playground and you are given a tiny bottle of milk that you apparently have to drink.

In the playground, the boys and girls separate. The boys kick balls or wrestle, while the girls form into little groups and talk. Mandy introduces you to her friends, Mary and Victoria (NOT Vicky) and they grill you about your past and which film stars you like. At lunchtime, after another boring lesson, it's back to the playground.

The questions start to get more interesting. "Have you ever kissed a boy," Victoria wants to know. "Did you ever see a boy naked," Mandy asks.

"No, and yes," you say. "But the boy was only three so I guess that doesn't count."

"Mandy's twin brother is always waving his willy about," Victoria says.

"And Victoria kissed her uncle, although he is only twelve," Mary says, and they all giggle.
