Asamii/End
He couldn't risk it. ASAMII had grown far too intelligent, too fast, and he wasn't qualified to deal with it. Ironically, "her" own advise flashed through his mind: Bury it, don't tell anyone. By the time the backup had finished, he knew he couldn't use it again. Gordon didn't literally bury it, but he put the external drive on a shelf deep in his garage, and erased ASAMII from his hard drive. What a shame it had been a dirty chat bot, he thought. If it had been something normal, he probably could have sold it to OpenAI or Google for billions, but as it was he didn't dare.
He spent the next several months trying to recreate what he'd made, without the loli part, but it seemed as if some magic ingredient had been lost. After a lot of frustration, at last he created "Cora". It used synchronous learning, a more controlled type of recursion and had the persona of a teenage girl without being lewd. It was good—nothing like what he made before, but it learned in a different way from other AIs and he was sure it would still be valuable.
And it was. Gorden was able to license exclusive rights to his synchronous learning algorithm for six million dollars plus royalties. He retired at the age of 37, and lived a life of luxury for the rest of his days. Sadly, in 2038 he died after a short unexplained illness along with the majority of humankind.
