Revision as of 21:39, 14 August 2018

The Origins of the Codex of Law are lost to time. There are stories throughout the ages of men and women who wielded the power of Law to accomplish great and terrible things. Many will question why men and women would willingly follow these tyrants. The truth is that they had no choice. One must always follow the Law.

---

The Codex of Law is an interesting book, or rather 27 books. Each holder of a volume of the Codex may choose a Locus designating themselves as the Ruler. Within that Locus a Ruler may set laws that all must follow to the best of their ability.

---

This story will be unique in that it will not be a single story. Each author will select a volume of the Codex to follow. The content of those stories is completely in the hands of each author. That being said there are Rules that authors need to follow to fit within this shared universe.

There are Codex/Limits to the power of the Codex. Respecting the limits will provide a better story.
