Short in stature with even regular adults standing around 3 feet tall, the Halfling race are generally humble and optimistic, caring not for grand shows of opulence. Most Halflings come from quiet shires on the outskirts of civilization, though many easily integrate themselves with the communities of other races from simple towns to sprawling megalopolises. Family values are of the upmost importance to Halfling communities, and they will easily risk life and limb to protect anyone they view as such. While Halflings usually value traditional ideals and values, they also have an innate wanderlust that fuels their curiosity about the world.
