Biography

Leopold is an important leader in Mahogany Hills. He has close relation with the town Deacon, Mayor, and House Association.

He truly believes what he’s doing is for the best of the students, justifying to himself and others the perversions in the name of the greater good for the community. As many in town, he has a very repressed sexuality, and unconsciously enjoys being able to see the students engage in sexual acts without loosing face.

He is married and has eight children, four of which are still in school. He’s proud that he followed the town’s courtship norms, dating his wife at her house for months before marrying to her in white and deflowering her in their honey moon. His wife is also proud of the status of her husband, even when he has refused sexual intimacy for a while now.

He’s had some affairs both before and after marriage, visiting the town’s brothel; then going to the deacon to confess and cleanse his soul. Lately he has’t bothered, as the women in the brothel no longer excite him.

The only lasting stain from his sinful youth is his oldest daughter, who was conceived out of marriage during a night of passion with a tourist. After seeking advice from his friend Isidro, then only a priest, he tried to make things right by marrying the pregnant girl. But the girl rejected him, telling him she had no intention of staying in Mahogany Hills, or having his child. The idea that this girl dared reject him and was contemplating murdering his unborn child made Leopold so mad, he decided to do everything in his power to stop her.

It wasn't hard to convince the town that the mother of his unborn child was a deviant that had taken advantage of him and was now trying to erase her sin by murdering an innocent child. Leopold's family was very influential in town, and even though the authorities had nothing on the girl, they detained her until it was too late to abort the pregnancy. Still, the girl refused to marry Leopold, and thanks to an intervention by the church, the newborn was given to Leopold.

It was after this ordeal that Leopold decided to limit his escapades to the safe woman of the brothel, and a few years later started courting young Barbara. Still, as Kathrin grew up, he couldn't help but see in her the face of the woman who rejected him, and thus has been much colder to her than any of his other children, to the point of forcing her to marry the now Mayor in order to secure the election.

Ever since he caught the physical education teacher kissing with a senior male student a few years ago, he’s been unable to stop wondering what it would be like to have sex with a man, and a growing portion of the pornography he secretly owns has begun to include male models.

Public Relations

Laima Varano

Leopold hired Laima almost fifteen years ago as the school’s secretary, shortly after she married Norbert. In the long hours after class, Leopold and Laima shared a passionate affair that slowly cooled down as Leopold lost interest, and completely stopped on Norbert’s death. While unlikely, it’s possible that one or both of Laima’s children are actually Leopold’s.

John Gardner

Leopold hired John as the head of the Disciplinary Office on a suggestion by Beatriz Moore, the third grade teacher. He fully knows John’s sexual attraction towards children, and has mixed feeling about it. On one hand he feels he should lock him up and excommunicate him for such socially unacceptable desires; but he wants to believe such desires will make it easier for John to give lasting punishments, where a decent adult would refrain himself. Unconsciously he also gets a thrill from knowing the children are being abused.

Beatriz Moore

Leopold took Beatriz under his wing when her husband abandoned her. Publicly he went to join the military, remaining the ever loving husband, but he (and probably everyone in town) knew he was gone for good. At first he thought he would be able to sleep with Beatriz once she was in his debt, but as time passed, he found himself looking at her more as a daughter, and also loosing his interest in woman in general. He lets Beatriz get away with a lot, both in her teaching methods and personal life, like allowing her not to enroll her daughter in school.
