Biography
Because they are twins, Kirsten and Hannah are among the few blood siblings at the orphanage who actually know they are related to each other. However, despite their known and acknowledged blood relationship, the two do not interact with each other more than usual for the orphanage children. Rather, they have both fallen into their own friend circles within the other orphanage kids.
Kirsten is far more socially reserved than Hannah, and does her best not to stand out in order to avoid attention from adults and the punishments that are so often associated with this. It is often in an orphan's best interest to avoid standing out, after all. The people of Mahogany Hills often do not like orphans, so it is best if the teachers and adults outside the orphanage do not take note of her.
In this way, Kirsten manages to coast by in the background, meek and quiet. She does not participate in the group "touching games" with the other girls, but she has privately touched herself in the bathroom out of curiosity since the other girls started this game.
