Disciplinary Action/Disciplinary Office/First Quarter/Franklin girls
You come in early to school the morning after writing up the punishment for the Franklin girls. Soon after the letter went out placing misbehaviors in the community under your jurisdiction to punish, a letter you took to be referring more to law-enforcement issues or issues that come up at community functions such as, say, a church picknick rather than personal home discipline, your next door neighbor Ms. Franklin came to you informing you about some of her youngest 2 daughters' misbehaviors that she wanted to have you punish. While it was certainly not what you took the letter to mean, you can certainly see how it can be interpreted that a parent, at their discretion, can make you the disciplinarian of their house should they want to report their child's at-home infractions. As such, you had her give you a report of their misbehaviors and decided to take up the girls' discipline.
The "crimes" these girls committed was simply that the little 4 year old, Melissa, had been throwing temper tantrums, fighting with her older sister Meredith who seemed to have been instigating the fights, and then Melissa broke a vase. If something like this happened in the school, the fighting part could probably get it listed as a single severe infraction, but a low-grade one considering they are kindergarteners, and that would be the worst of it, the vase breaking was unintentional as such it would be more of a middle infraction. However, since it was the girls' home, the letter that was issued for punishments had a somewhat different basis on the punishment guidelines. Instead of named infractions that would be at each severity level, the basis was how high of a fine would normally be issued or how much jail time would they get, which in the case of the home infractions adaptation, the jail time translated to how long they would be grounded for. With the details Ms. Franklin gave you about their grounding times, you actually had the ability to justify anything from mid-level to an extreme punishment. Ultimately though, you decided to...
Go mid-level
Go severe-level
Go extreme-level
