Tyler mauled over what to ask his mom since she requested a truth. It seemed to take him longer this round, likely due to the fact there is more that he would like to see her do rather then things he wanted to ask. Just when it looked as if you may need to help him out a little bit the light bulb went off over his head. "Mommy, Do you love me more than daddy?"
Tyler managed to take his mom off guard with such a loaded question. After all, there are so many kinds of love. But after a few moments Cindy looked her son right in the eyes, "Yes baby, I do." She gently. "You see, it would hurt for a little while if your daddy left and even that would depend on the circumstances." Cindy went on to say, "In the end, I would be alright because I have you. On the other hand I could not handle loosing you, you're my whole world. There is nobody that could take that kind of pain away, especially daddy."
Tyler listened to his mom with a look of deep thought on his face, letting the weight of what she just said sink in. "I love you more than anything too mommy."
