The way I did pictures was very specific in Life Hacks. That's why you are having so many problems. First off they are all 512x659 (this was supposed to be 512x660, but you know . . . stuff). They also have a transparent background wherever possible, thus limiting them to PNG made sense, since it's wither that GIF or SVG . . . and who's going to use a GIF or SVG? Sorry for the problems.
