Generations/Preserve some meat for later
You’re going to be out here for awhile, best to keep some food around for later. You gather some tinder and rocks, as well as a sharp stone to butcher the meat, setting up a primitive kiln to smoke the meat you don’t eat and cook the what you do eat over an open flame. In addition to allowing the meat to be preserved, the fires also helps to keep animals away.
After you eat until you’re stuffed, you begin harvesting the rest of the bear for use. You skin it, fashioning the shoulders into a cape with the head as the hood. The rest of the skin you turn into a blanket and makeshift clothes; the thick hide and fur, crudely sewn together with sinew, will not only keep you warm but work as crude padded armor.
You take the leg bones and use the sharpened rock to whittle each them to points and harden them over the fire you used to cook your meat. You now have some spears for hunting and combat. You now take a moment to examine your claw marks: the wound will scar, but you should survive. Against the odds, you have conquered the bear and defied nature’s call of death, establishing a stable shelter for the time being.
What do you do?
