4th wall break
Well, since it is not exactly normal to get this big of a data-dump on complex subjects involving high level theoretical science, it might be understandable if you as a reader are feeling a little sick of this by now. It is not normally good form to up and break the 4th wall this blatantly, but this is out of consideration for the reader (and avoidable for more serious readers.)
So, now you have a decision to make. Just how sick of the heavy explanation stuff are you? Or, would you learn this stuff better if it was told to you, the reader, outside of a narrative context?
- Chapter 1 will contain a link to the “lore” page. I will just skip ahead and check out the powers at my leisure.
- I am tired of the heavy stuff, but I don't want to break the narrative. At least give some exposition to link to where the story transitions into Chapter 1.
- Continue the story in-narrative and learn from Mr. Austin how to use the MC's powers
