With some increased skill, a god of sufficient power can create lower level vassals by dividing up and partitioning the power that they give. This is a fraction of the power that would normally be given to create a primary vassal, and it is beneficial for a god to do this because it allows them to create more than one vassal at a time in addition to the benefit of creating a hierarchy within their courts.

More powerful gods have more power available to partition off to their vassals. The partitioning off of power can be used to allow the vassal to use only one of the powers typical of a god of that level, for instance a lesser god can grant a regular being the demigod ability to sense emotions but none of the other demigod powers, or they could give them only the ability to project auras. Powers granted in this way are at the lowest level of mastery, and need to be developed with the skill of the vassal in order to access the moderate and advanced skill level abilities. Doing it in this manner can allow a lesser god to make up to 3 vassals, each possessing 1 of the demigod powers.

Minor and greater gods can also divide up the power given to their vassals to make multiple vassals of a level 2 or 3 ranks of godhood below them. A minor god can make 3 demigod level vassals in place of a single lesser god rank vassal, or 6 vassals with a single demigod power. A greater god can make 2 lesser god rank vassals or 10 demigod rank vassals in the place of 1 minor god rank vassal. If they wish to grant each vassal only a single demigod power, then they can make up to 24 at once.

Just like with creating a primary vassal, some power can be saved if they are raising beings who already have god powers to a higher level of godhood.
