  • NAME : Halvor Löfgren
  • AGE : 27
  • SEX : Male
  • RACE : Nord
  • HEIGHT : 181cm
  • WEIGHT : 72kg
  • HOMETOWN : Windhelm, Skyrim
  • BIRTHDAY : Second Seed, 9th
  • BACKSTORY :

Halvor grew up in Kynesgrove not far from Windhelm. When he was 10, his parents had saved up enough to purchase a farm near Windhelm and he moved with his family. While living on the farm, Halvor quickly had to learn how to defend the crops and livestock from the many dangers of Skyrim. However, his father insisted that he get an education in the city, instead of being stuck helping out on the farm all the time. This gave Halvor a solid foundation for a successful life in Skyrim, able to handle the challenges of the harsh climate and wildlife while also gaining the knowledge to fit into more civilized circles.

When he was old enough, he convinced his father to partner with him to start a new shipping business in the vibrant port in Windhelm. They purchased two ships that would run supplies from Morrowind. At first, the business proved to be quite challenging, often plagued by pirates and bandits. In order to protect his shipments, Halvor hired a few sellswords and even went himself to save money. Most of his real fighting experience began when he defended his shipments. He learned many new skills training with some of the sellswords he'd hired, too. Eventually, the business grew and he purchased several more ships. Even though he could afford to hire additional swords to protect his shipments, Halvor still often chose to go himself because he enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. At its height, Halvor started supply runs all the way to Black Marsh and his sailors were becoming well known along their supply runs bringing goods from Skyrim and back.

After several years of running and growing the shipping business, the East Empire Company approached him and offered to buy it. Halvor and his father both accepted, making them quite wealthy. Since selling the business, Halvor continued traveling, splitting most of his time between Skyrim, Morrowind, and Cyrodiil. While he didn't necessarily need the money, he preferred to travel light and occasionally offered his sword for a price when he needed a little extra gold on the road.

  • SEXUAL EXPERIENCE :

Running a successful shipping business and always spending time away has left Halvor with little time to pursue a serious relationship. That said, he has spent plenty of time on the go, enjoying the occasional one night stand as he passed through various cities. He has a fantasy involving young girls which he has never explored.

  • COMABT SKILLS :

Halvor is a skilled swordsman and also uses some magic in battle. When he was busy protecting his ships from Pirates, destruction magic proved more efficient than a bow and arrow, so he honed his magical abilities. He can still hold his own with a bow and arrow, but he is not exceptional. Halvor is an all around excellent fighter with experience fighting all throughout Tamriel.

  • OTHER SKILLS :

Halvor is very charismatic which makes it easy for people to trust and follow him. While he spent a great deal of time fighting off pirates and bandits that plagued his shipping business, he sees himself as more of a businessman than a fighter. He has exceptional negotiating skills and is not afraid to tackle unfamiliar challenges when the need arises. While running his shipping business, he gained lots of experience working with and leading other people. He is very good at sizing people up and using them to get things done.

  • RELIGIOUS VIEWS :

He was raised a true Talos worshipping Nord. Personally, he believes in the 9 but doesn't really spend much time in practice.

  • POLITICAL VIEWS :

Growing up a Nord in the aftermath of the great war, he feels the Empire has lost its way and agrees that Skyrim aught to be independent. He doesn't agree that a civil war among Skyrim's own people is the right answer and feels that Ulfric would have been smarter to take a more diplomatic approach to the conflict instead of inciting a rebellion. He thinks Ulfric is a warmongering idiot with his own agenda and would prefer to see an independent Skyrim under a high king willing to put Skyrim first. Primarily though, Halvor doesn't feel that his place is in politics and would much prefer to focus on new business ventures than fuss about who is in charge.
