Life Hacks/Beth-preg/Custom package1/Hurry back and check on Roni and Charity
You climb out of the pool, sparing only a glance to the two poor kids who had to see such an utterly baffling sight. It would take far too long to explain things and calm them down, and you have other more important things to worry about, such as your own sisters who were just in a far more horrible situation. It really won’t cause them any harm to have to stand there baffled for a little while at this hard to explain situation, so, without a word you simply turn back the way you came and gracefully leap out the large hole you made by cracking the top portions off the 2 planks of their wooden fence.
In your next motion, you look for a gap in the traffic, and, instead of the high flying leap you took before you instead bound gracefully like a gazelle using 4 large steps to cross the entire street. You are currently moving very fast compared to a normal person at speed that would have you out-perform anyone in the 100 meter sprint, however the speed you are currently moving at is at least within the realm of normal human possibility this time around. The thing that’s unusual this time is how relaxed your pace seems to be and the fact that you are achieving this speed by casually and gracefully dancing through the air while only having brief momentary contact with the ground.
You only spare a quick glance over to check the condition of the bastard who was trying to take Charity to do god knows what with her. He is lying face down on the ground in a very awkward condition. He is most certainly either dead or dying from the car-crash level injuries you inflicted on him. Perhaps the most disturbing thing you notice at a glance is that one of his feet are entirely missing. Flicking your eyes over the scene, you manage to locate his missing foot with the boot still attached to it about 30 feet away from the rest of his body. This is certainly going to be a mess to explain.
You decide not to worry about this for now and instead, continuing with your pace of dancing through the air using the absurd strength of your ankles, you float your way over the hedges around the front of the park in a single bound, landing on the parking barrier in front of an empty parking spot, and then with several more dance-like leaps you quickly traverse the space between you and the Bastard’s service car, going around the side to see Roni staring in the direction of the hole you made in the fence across the street in shock, her eyes only flicking back to you just now as you enter her vision. You hear the voice of your mother on the other side of the phone that Roni is simply holding at her side.
“Roni! RONI! What’s going on! Roni! Xander’s on his way over right now, don’t do anything, just wait for him to get there. Get away and go somewhere safe for now!”
Your heart begins to feel at ease as you can see that your little sister is alright. You haven’t got a good look at Charity yet, but just seeing Roni is Ok has calmed you down enough that you are starting to take in the crowd of other onlookers who are starting to gather around. Now come to think of it, there were quite a few people directing angry glances “his” way even when you were just getting here in the first place, and you can see a lot of men who look like they were probably the fathers of the kids playing baseball with Roni who may have been just looking for their opportunity to intervene themselves. On that note, you begin to hear police sirens in the distance. You are not certain whether your mom called them or if it was one of these people, but certainly with the completely unhinged way this guy was behaving it makes perfect sense that someone would think it appropriate to get other police officers to handle a rogue police officer.
Where do you go from here?
- Grab the phone from Roni and assure your mom things are alright
- Get Charity out of the police car and see how she's doing (Request) --Tod Naturlich (talk) 20:38, 12 April 2018 (CEST)
