“Well, I think I would like to catch up with March for a bit first, I can play with you all later,” you tell the enthusiastic kids.
“Awwwww!” Octo and July groan.
“But we can play with you in Buba’s room, right?” Octo asks.
“Yeah!” July responds, running out of Summer’s grip in such a way that it causes the arm-strap her sister was holding and trying to get up over her shoulder to elastically snap back against her arm. “Ow!” She yells and then starts crying “Whaaahahaaaaa!”
Summer just gives a heavy sigh. “See what I have to go through!?” She groans. “No, you can’t go up to March’s room!” She growls.
“But why not!?” Octo whines.
“Because he is here for March and doesn’t want to do little kid thing with you!” She nearly bites his head off, causing him to erupt into tears in the same way as his sister. Summer groans. “Oh, just go!” She says to you, “I’ll handle them so that you can make your get away.”
“Allright..” you say, a little uneasy as you glance about the two screaming kids and distractedly make your way to the stairs with March making his way up ahead of you and Jan happily hanging from your arm.
“And where do you think YOU’RE going!?” Summer’s harsh voice bites past you to the girl on your arm.
“What!?” Jan responds, sounding genuinely stunned she is getting yelled at, “I… I… March said...”
“Just leave the two of them alone, I’m sure they don’t want you pestering them either.”
“But I was playing with March before Xander came!” She protests, flying off your arm and over to the rail of the banister, “And… and… and March said that I could hang out with him and Xander today too!!”
“Haaa… all right,” Summer sighs in defeat. “But only if the boys both say you can stay in his room.”
“Can I PLEEEAS Xander!?” Jan clings back on to your opposite arm, practically climbing the thing as she stairs into your soul with puppy dog eyes.
“No fair!” July protests, having calmed down from her crying about getting her swim-suit snapped on her arm. “I wanna play with Xander!”
Summer quickly hushes her, telling you THAT’S not going to be a problem, then you come back to the issue of Jan.
