That’s it! In a half panic at all the erratic behavior from all of them, you simply freeze time again with a thought. Damn that’s convenient! You are caught still holding Nove though, and her urine stream is still frozen in mid-air. You can feel your hands shaking slightly as you lower them out of her arm-pits and she remains floating there.
You push yourself out from under her and stand up, casting mystified eyes over everyone in the group. What went wrong? You modified their attitudes before for them to like you and be submissive to you, but they were just acting worse than Charity does toward you. You quickly pull up their relationship stats, and you instantly see the problem. Or rather, the proximal problem. You still have no idea what caused it, but all their relationship stats, except for their family and romantic love, seem to have gone to 50/50. Actually, even March who you did not set to love you romantically at all now shows 50% romantic love toward you.
“What the fuck?” You say out loud.
“Master, it must have been that daemon!” Cora bites, speaking with venom as she refers to Black Rose. “She must have tried to trick you in some way.”
-Sigh- Well, that’s not the most helpful of commentary, although you have to admit that it must have something to do with the hack she just gave you. There must be something in it that the system didn’t quite like. You don’t think it was malicious on her part, rather it was probably an oversight of some sort. First thing’s first before you start trying to figure it out though, you have got to have clean cloths. You have to admit, feeling your cloths stick to your skin because you were peed on by a little girl has your dick straining in your pants a little, but if you are going to be serious-minded and try to figure out what the fuck is causing them to act all screwy you are going to want to be clean.
You consider changing cloths for a second, but then another thought occurs to you. Can you just make the pee go away? “Allright, well, let’s do something about this first.” You say aloud for Cora’s benefit before trying anything. You focus on it for a second, and sure enough the urine seems to simply vanish and you shirt is suddenly dry and clean as though it never happened. That is most definitely handy.
“Ok now, let’s figure out what went wrong with all of you.” You say, walking up toward the Holidays.
“I’m sure you can do it master!” She says with an encouraging smile.
There is something that seems a little vacuous and empty about Cora’s encouragement, but you ultimately dismiss it and focus back on the task at hand. You seem to have some ability to check through the statistics in the game using your new interface abilities, the ability to have information routed directly into your brain, so you simply look into the modification of their relationship stats and look for the origin of the modification. The information states it was done by “relationship cheats.” So it was in cheats then? Oh yeah! That’s right! You remember something like that in the cheats! You should probably have remembered that when Rose said she was buying you all the cheats, it is pretty much a given something like this would happen.
“Ok, so that’s the problem,” you say aloud, again for Cora’s benefit, and then you immediately pull up the relationship cheats. All of them are set to give you an automatic 50% in everything. The makers of the game likely never intended for all 9 of them to be simultaneously purchased at the same time and figured they would be adjusted appropriately as they were individually purchased. This whole mess is not their fault, it is your fault for using this super extra cheaty method to get them. Well, lesson learned. Time to optimize them. First, you have GOT to deactivate Hated by everybody, Infamous, and Everybody’s bitch. Why would someone want those cheats in the first place anyway?
Ok, next, you set Everybody’s friend, One big family, Highly trusted, and Highly respected all to max. As for Casanova… no, you don’t want it. You shut it off. You don’t want everyone on the street to instantly fall in love with you without your say-so. If you want someone to love you in that way, you will make your decisions on a case by case basis.
Now there is just one more item for consideration… this Everyone wants to bang you cheat. You have to consider that for a moment. Do you really want that one? On the one hand, it is only in effect for people who have a romantic love score with you, and it does seem like the sort of thing you want, but just how powerful is it?
