Life Hacks/Talk to Loki and make it so you can adopt Billie

Yeah, you’ll probably do that when you have the chance. Your heart goes out to the kid. She has been through some pretty crazy circumstances, and you with your combination of skill and reality altering ability are likely the one person who can most easily sort it all out. (not to mention the opportunity presented by having a girl who everyone seems to think is a boy.)

“Hey!” ‘Billy’ calls to you, having fallen into step with you and currently looking up to you with a great deal of interest. “You’re stronger then my dad, right?”

“Huh?” You respond.

“You beat him at the park, so you’re stronger than him.” ‘he’ states.

“Yeah, I guess so,” you answer in your discomfort generated humbleness. The real answer to that question would be ‘most definitely, and in a LOT more ways than one.’

“Hey, wait! What’s your name?” ‘Billy’ asks, seemingly having just realized ‘he’ doesn’t really know you at all (yet has asked to live with you and has been hanging all over you like a dear trusted loved-one.)

“Xander,” you tell ‘him.’ “Actually, it’s Alexander, but I like people to just call me Xander.

“Xander?” ‘he’ replies thoughtfully and then smiles. “I love you Xander, I wish you were my dad!” Oi, ‘he’ doesn’t even seem to think it strange at all that he just met you earlier today and the only things ‘he’ knows about you are that you beat up ‘his’ dad, you are friendly to girls, and that you acted friendly toward “HIM” just a bit ago. Although, you suppose it is possible to see how the system might justify ‘his’ new stats through those actions. “Hey,” he continues, “do you think the police will really let me live with you?”

“I’m sure they will,” you respond. After all, you’ve got the ear of the literal god who controls this area. There is fairly little they could do to refuse.

After a few minutes of walking, the two of you arrive at the police station. ‘Billy’ seemed to be rather giddy about the prospect of living with you, and was full of questions the entire time about what life was like at your house. ‘He’ seemed to cringe a bit when you told ‘him’ about how many girls there were living with you. You subsequently lectured ‘him’ about how girls were not to be treated badly and that all the things ‘his’ dad had been telling ‘him’ about girls was wrong. ‘He’ didn’t seem to have that much to say on that subject, but meekly ceeded to your authority on the subject.

Well then, now that you have gotten yourself here, should you go talk to Loki before or after talking to Officer Thompsett?

What will you do?
