Life Hacks/Yng-Lexi/Take over the explanation in a way that will assure Charity she's worrying about nothing
Ok, so how do you say this in a way that won't make Charity worry? Well, you should probably keep the information sanitized. You HAVE been through health class in high school after all. You feel like that's a memory that's just as true for your 10 year old self as your previous 15 year old self anyway. Let's go that route and hope it works.
"It's because of puberty." You cut in. "They teach you about it in health class, it's when a girl gets older she starts to have periods so she's ready to have a baby."
"Huh?" Angel responds. You don't blame her. That wasn't a good explanation at all. You were trying so much to talk like a kid who only heard about it but didn't really understand it fully you wound up making an explanation that, while accurate, was no where near as cogent as it needed to be in order to cut through the high emotions that were flying everywhere right now.
"That's right!" Charity picks up the baton from you, and she definitely seems to look relieved. "It's part of growing up," she says. "Every month or so, a girl bleeds from down there. You have something called egg cells in your ovaries here," she says, placing her palm gently on Angel's pelvis.
"What? Eggs?" She responds, looking completely clueless as to what Charity is trying to tell her.
"Yes, and... oh man, this is not working out." She groans.
That's certainly not something you want to say in front of a child who's already very distressed. You really can't help the feeling most of this is because of what just happened back in your room with Bastian having Charity already on edge before this. At about this point, your enhanced hearing detects something else that could bring in either more chaos or possibly a life-line. You hear the sound of a car door closing in the drive way, and you are able to tell it is definitely in front of your house.

- Alert Charity that someone's at the door and convince her to leave you with Angel
