You take your time making your way down to the kitchen. By now you can hear the quiet scampering of Alex's feet upstairs and your husband getting out of bed. Your favorite song pops in your head as you crack two eggs over a pan. A rich aroma washes over the kitchen as you hum your song and prep the bacon.
"Hey Alex, hey mom" Rachel walks down the stairs, dressed still in her panties and T-shirt. You see her frown as she reaches down to her panties and scratches.
"Sleep well sis?" Alex replies. You're glad your two children are finally getting along.
"Like a baby", your daughter says.
"All right everyone, breakfast is done. Your sister is going to need a good breakfast for her dancing audition today" You places 2 large plates of eggs and bacon on the table.
"I'm going to shower first mom, I must have sweated alot when I slept last night". Rachel scampers back up the stairs.
Satisfied with your work, you walk back up stairs to get dressed for work. Suddenly, you feel a tight cramp in your stomach. Looks like you might be coming down with something. However, you know your period is going to start in a few days and you always get cramps when you're ovulating.
