Irene was overweight as a child, Her parents convinced her to try swimming as exercise. She nearly quit after being called "Shamoo". Irene persevered and lost a lot a weight while gaining a nice amount of muscle. The changes have been recent enough that she still bears a grudge against her former tormentors. Irene knows that she's hot now, but still isn't completely happy with her figure and spends a few hours a day swimming in an attempt to slim down a bit more.
