Making the Team/Bring Stacy (7)
You're not exactly 100% sure why he needs your sister to come with you, but you're in too much of a rush to worry about it. This is surely about your starting spot on the team, which you desperately want, so why should you bother about such details? Actually you should, and if you would stop and think about it for a second you would realize that, but you don't. With a grin of triumph you jump from your chair and make a decision. Jodie would never come with you, she's just such a bitch sometimes, and Stacy is most likely somewhere outside running around and making a ruckus god knows where, so you would have to search for her. Mary is definitely the easiest choice, but Stacy is your favorite sister, after all. She’s much less annoying, so you never mind having her tag along.
It doesn’t take long before you find her in the backyard, half-way up your big tree.
“Hey Stacy, I need your help with something,” you look up as Stacy starts to swing upside down from a tree branch in her bib overalls.
“Like what?” She asks.
“I’m invited over to the quarterback’s house to hopefully get my spot on the football team—-and they asked me to bring my sister…” you answer.
“Why do they want me to come?” Stacy ungracefully dropped down to the grass, but landed on her feet.
“I dunno,” you shrug. You still haven’t fully considered why they might actually want your sister to come. . .
