Religious Herarchy

Investigators: Investigators are the starting rank in the Order. Their duties consist primarily of investigating the complaints of the common followers of the church and investigating small crimes in the community, and all duties and responsibilities needed to cary out investigations. When not stationed at a specific location, they can often be found wandering from community to community, dispensing justice and giving legal advice to local leaders. Secondary to that are their studies for progression within the Order.

Inspectors Inspectors are responsible for overseeing the investigators under them and handling the investigation of large crimes or complaints of the local nobility or upper middle class. Inspectors are always assigned to a specific area or ruler. When they or their Inquisitors have completed their investigation, the Inspector hands their findings to the local Priest/Priestesses for judgement.

Lamptons currently has one Inspector assigned to it's church, while Larange currently has four Inspectors assigned to various religons buildings.

Inquisitors: Inquisitors are responsible for overseeing the investigators and inspectors under them, as well as investigating major issues and political intrigue deemed important by the church, in a given area. They hold sway over multiple locations and in some cases multiple cities.

Inquisitors are only answerable to the church, though there have been times when they have been loned out to assist rulers and powerful organizations.

Lamptons and Larange are oversean by one Inquisitor, and another has been assigned to the outskirts..

Judges: Judges oversea the governance of an area controled by multiple Inspectors, they are also the only people allowed to hold judgment over the Church, Clergy and Orders.

The entirety of the outskirts to include Lamptons and Larange is under the authority of one Judge.

There is one Judge who is considered the head of The Order of Truth. This is an appointed position by the Patriarch/Matriarch and is a lifetime appointment.
