Nymphsaga
FOREWORD
TL;DR - Like RPG's, virtual reality settings, or fantasy gaming in general? Like yuri, or perhaps gender-bending? Really like alternative hentai (tentacles, monsters, futa etc.)? If so, this story might be for you.
In the early parts of the 22nd century, the world is a very different place from the world where we live in. Yet, at the same time, it's so similar. Two things that haven't changed are the hunger for discovery and the hunger for entertainment. Coincidentally, these are the years that happen to be significant in both of these frontiers.
As the world collectively sets its gazes to the stars afar, ushering in the space age of humanity, down at planet Earth, the home of mankind, the next generation of virtual reality gaming becomes widespread and commercially available to consumers worldwide at an affordable price. For the first time in history, gamers are able to literally upload their minds into virtual worlds. These worlds are photorealistic, immersive, and massive open worlds, able to even simulate sensations people would normally only be able to experience in the real world. Amongst these virtual worlds is a sci-fi and fantasy-themed videogame called Nymphsaga, which tells a story of Nymphs and their desperate struggle for survival in a dangerously unforgiving world.
But could there be something much more sinister going on? Is Nymphsaga merely a simple, harmless game created for gamers to enjoy for fun, or is there something so much more to it? That is the question thousands of gamers will have to ask themselves as they dive into the world of Nymphsaga.
This is a story about these gamers who find themselves immersed in the universe of Nymphsaga. The story I want to tell you starts with - and for the most part focuses on - three very close friends who share a passion for virtual reality gaming and want to experience this world together. They will make friends and some enemies too as the circle grows larger, they will find both happiness and grief in the world of Nymphsaga, and they will have their life changed forever.
CONTENT DISCLAIMER
First things first, not only is this story a long one, but also one that you have to read quite a bit to get to the juicy stuff. In other words, this story is not one that you jump into while horny to get a quick fix. Also, while the story is sexual in nature, the story is mostly "no sex". Actual adult scenes take a smaller fraction of the overall word count, and not all of them will even feature intercourse. The story is both character- and plot-driven and features a lot of lore, some of which may not even be remotely sexual in nature. It is also worth pointing out that while Nymphs are childlike in nature, most of the Nymphs presented in this story are 18 years of age or older, and aren't actually children, or even act like children most of the time. While there is some comic relief attempts at comedy and lighthearted moments, this story is "intended" to be a dark one. I cannot and will not promise a happy ending to any single character, or for any of them for that matter.
The pornographic content in this story appeals mainly to the fans of alternative hentai, but I'm sure fans of yuri will find content that they find interesting as well. If you're into tentacles and monsters preying on children, you may find this enjoyable. If not, this is not for you. Since the sex of all characters doesn't coincide with the sex of their birth in real life, there are genderbending and trans-elements to the story as well. Futanari content should be expected as well. I'd say that there's about 50/50 split between consensual and forced (read: both reluc and rape) sex, but after it's all said and done, don't quote on me that. There will be pregnancy caused by monsters too, some of which may also come in form of mind and body-altering parasites. As far as content you shouldn't expect goes, don't expect piss, scat, snuff, guro, or deadly vore.
I do not want to give out too many disclaimers about the content past those two paragraphs, just enough for you to be able to reasonably say if you are or aren't going to find any of the pornographic content interesting. I especially don't want to discuss the nature of the game for that matter, as it is something that is best left discovered by processing through the story. Then again, I guess many of you can already tell where this is going. I'll try to be fair with how many scenes I include per character so there won't be a great disbalance, but at the same time, it's not something I will keep book of.
If you find any of this interesting, I hope you give this story a try. I hope you find reading it as fun as I find writing it.

Chapter EX - Medusa's Curse - While this story contains no pieces of lore or spoilers regarding the main story, it's probably better understood with some context from the main story. I'd say it's best read after Chapter I and before Chapter VI.
Chapter 5.5 - Love Stories - This is a collection of short side stories that take place sometime after the end of Chapter V, a little before the start of Chapter VI. They feature characters from both the main story as well as Chapter EX. In the interest of avoiding spoilers, it's best read after you're done with the chapters preceding it.
