Marine tried to calm herself and slow her train engine paced heart beat. While her lungs were slowly pleading for more air, she knew panicking in this situation was a good way to get herself killed. Instead, she watched her surroundings carefully and swam upwards slowly while keeping a decent distance between herself and any nearby jelly fish. Marine felt like she was sweating despite being underwater, she might have been, she didn't know how that worked. Despite this, she kept her cool and remained swimming up at a calm pace. She could see the sun shining through the surface, but it was a strange battle getting there. The jelly fished moved in strange ways often right into her path and she needed to make some sharp course corrections to avoid contact. If she didn't know any better she would've thought the jelly fish were purposely trying to block her escape. She almost laughed at the thought, she knew it was dumb, absurd.

Or at least it seemed that way.

She only realized once a large swarm had risen up above her, and she looked around only to find that the entire horde had encased her in with only the smallest of space to move. In shock, Marine looked around to find an opening, a space she could squeeze through to get out. That's when something wrapped around her wrist. She jerked back instinctively, fearing it to be a stinger, but it wasn't. What she saw wrapped around her wrist was too big, too thick to be a stinger, more like a tentacle of on octopus or squid. Yet she traced its path and found that it was indeed connected to one of the jelly fish. It was gripping, and wasn't letting go.

It struck her right then that these couldn't be any ordinary jelly fish, but that thought was soon overshadowed by the horror of seeing more of those thick eel like tentacles moving towards her out of the horde.

In a panic, Marine struggled to get out...
