Summer Holiday/Spain Day 2 Dinner with Bob and family.

The dining room is busy, but a small figure comes hurtling across and grabs your hand. "We saved you a place," Molly says. She looks really cute, with a ribbon in her hair, a frilly top and a matching short skirt. She leads me to a corner table where Bob, Mary and Harry are sitting.

"Good timing," Bob says. "We only just got here ourselves."

You tell them that you spent the day either on the beach or by the pool (You see no reason to mention how you had really spent the afternoon). They tell me that they visited a relative who lived in the hills behind the town. Bob has a hired car which he is keeping for the whole holiday and suggests that you might like to join them on a visit to a different beach the next day.

Although she was pleased to see me, Molly was clearly tired and she and Harry keep squabbling about nothing. In the end, Mary takes them up to bed, leaving Bob and me to prop up the bar. "Lots of naked kids on the beach were there," he says with a grin. I assure him that there were, and tell him about the toddlers' sex game. "Pretty normal round here, as you will find out," he said, draining his pint. "I'll give you a call in the morning," he says, yawning.
