You're up bright and early on Saturday morning and by eight o'clock you are stood outside the shop ready to work. Mr Jenkins arrives, and after unlocking the three locks on the door and switching off the security alarm, he leads you into the shop. The first thing he does is show you where the kettle is and tells you to make tea for you both. You spend the next hour tidying and dusting and he asks you which of the women you babysit for. You tell him about Mrs Martin and her six-year-old son, and Alice and Trevor, and Emily and Veronica.

"Emily… Is she a skinny girl, wears a stud in her nose," he asks, and you confirm that this sounds like Veronica's mother.

During the next couple of hours, there's a steady trickle of customers and Mr Jenkins deals with most of them, only asking you to help out with fiddly stuff like changing batteries in phones. You begin to wonder why he actually needs you at all, especially when he decides to shut the shop at eleven o'clock. He takes you through the kitchen to a back room which is set up like somebody's sitting room with a couple of couches, a low table and a big-screen TV. One wall is almost covered by shelves of DVDs. He drinks a bottle of beer and you get a Coke and he seems to be really interested in the babysitting.

You tell him that it's pretty boring really, just sitting around while the children sleep. "You really like children don't you," he says, and you can't help blushing as you nod agreement. "It's surprising how precocious little children can be," he goes on. "My nieces and nephews seem to know almost as much about sex as I do."

You shrug again, wondering where this conversation is heading. "Do you ever watch porn," he asks. You admit that you have watched some. "Which do you like best," he asks. "Old, young, big tits, small tits, big cocks, animals even. There's a huge variety out there." He waved his arm at the DVDs. "You're probably wondering how a shop like this makes any money. That's what pays the wages, a few people collect in person, but most of it by mail order."

He sits looking at you and you realise that he is waiting for an answer. "Erm… Younger I guess," you mumble.

"The teenage stuff is on that side," he points. He points out various different categories. "Only legal stuff," he says. The way he says it makes you wonder if there isn't some illegal stuff hidden away somewhere. He tells you to help yourself to anything you fancy, but you mumble your thanks and decline the offer.
