I'm guessing she dosed him with pixie dust before he woke up? Otherwise he would see her as a butterfly, moth, dragonfly or damselfly. --Elerneron (talk) 15:44, 7 May 2020 (CEST)
Correct. Also, would a fairy’s stretchiness let them survive a crushing, or is that a good way to kill them like a bug? --Dein0clies (talk) 9:52, 7 May 2020 (EDT)
Bludgeoning damage is the least effective attack on a fairy due to their extreme flexibility. Slashing, piercing, burning, etc are the best attacks to use against a fairy. It is also notoriously hard to hit a fairy due to their size and speed. They are agile little things. (Pretty much all of their Pitiful level body stat is focused purely on agility everything else being pretty much zero.) Gru might be quite surprised how difficult it is to try to take out a pitiful little fairy . . . and don't get me started on fairy magic. --Elerneron (talk) 16:04, 7 May 2020 (CEST)
With that in mind, what is a plausible scenario for Gru’Thrak killing, or at least managing to get a decent hold on Caelii? I did have the idea of, once he actually grabbed her, biting her head off. --Dein0clies (talk) 13:41, 10 May 2020 (EDT)
I'm good with whatever method you want him to take; I just thought you should be aware that it wouldn't be nearly as easy as one might think it would be. --Elerneron (talk) 21:28, 10 May 2020 (CEST)
How exerting on the body is Fey Magic? I ask before I decide if tiring her out is a good strategy or on that will get Gru killed. --Dein0clies (talk) 21:27, 10 May 2020 (CEST)
Unlike sorcery, fey magic is not fatiguing. Fey magic is limited by how natural the environment is rather than having a detrimental effect on the body. The cave you have described seems to qualify for Natural Environment, thus giving Caelii only a -1 to the level of spells she can cast. --Elerneron (talk) 09:38, 11 May 2020 (CEST)
