Emily needs to sneak into the Restricted Section of the library. Not only does she need to read about temporal paradoxes but she needs to do research on horcruxes themselves.


The book Secrets of the Darkest Arts is no longer housed in the library, it is in Dumbledore's office. (Accio Horcrux books might work)

With Lily becoming emotionally attached to Emily, she is at risk of being possessed. 

In book 2, Ginny poured her heart and soul into the Diary, leading to her being possessed.


Then there's the reclamation of soul fragments, Voldemort would have to feel remorse for killing the person that lead to the creation of the Horcrux. The soul fragments can then reunite with the primary soul. The question being, if this is an alternate universe, can the soul fragment even be reclaimed?

Events that I can see happening:

  • Emily discovers the Vanishing Cabinet, leading to a visit to Diagon Alley.
    • New robes and panties for Lily
  • Would Lucius be bold enough to purchase the Opal Necklace and have Draco gift it to Lily? Best not risk it, purchase it and get rid of it. (Rumor has it, that it's a Horcrux.)
  • A connection between Lily and the Hufflepuff family? (Maybe the common room can detect her bloodline and would let her in?)
  • With the Daughters of Hecate book, would there be some sort of ritual that can be performed by new fledgling covens to induct themselves? Does the ritual summon the nearest coven member, or does it summon Morgan Le-Fay and then the fledglings have to pleasure the summoned witch in order to be fully inducted? (Think of it like setting up a new branch for the coven)

Wishful thinking, it'd be interesting if Emily could force Narcissa and Bellatrix to make amends with Andromeda, they are family after all. Who cares about purebloods, halfblood or Muggleborn's? The Dark Lord himself was a halfblood and if they cared about purity, they would never have followed him. Emily grew up not knowing her parents, family is very important.

Probably never going to happen but what would happen if Emily forced Bellatrix to apologize to Neville? Would he attempt to use the cruciatus curse, leading to Bella and Emily saying that "Neville, you have to show an intent to want to harm, if you want to use the Cruciatus curse." Of course, Neville is young and Naïve and would be unable to hurt her. This at least fixes issues for Emily.

  • Lots of ideas, thanks because they sometimes inspire me.
  • Emily definitely needs to go into the restricted area of the library. She is just waiting on the Quietus boots to arrive by owl from T&Ts boot maker, then she can don the Shadow Cloak and go exploring. She will a bit “busy” with Lily in the evenings first though.
  • Emily and Voldemort want to study different areas of magic. Voldemort wants to get the Horcrux books to stop others (like Hermione) reading them. He also wants to read the two books on Temporal mechanics (the Many Worlds and the Avoidance of Paradox). Emily, on the other hand wants to learn about dream magic and divination, particularly to learn about her and Lily’s fate. Emily’s and Voldemorts interests will also spark ideas in the other
  • On fixing soul fragments, it’s a definite possible plot line. There’s an erotic fan fic called The Power of Seven where Hermione tries to fix Harry’s soul using sex magic. It’s quite amusing but mostly mf rather than ff like I prefer. It’s on AO3.
  • some sort of depossession or exorcism is another possibility. Emily would need a pattern mirror to even attempt soul repair, although there is another possibility that she doesn’t know yet.
  • Emily and Lily will definitely go shopping, but might have to wait until Christmas.
  • not sure what I’ll do with the poison necklace plot line
  • I have some ideas about Lilys family
  • I have definite ideas about Tom Riddles diary and possession.
  • The Daughters of Hecate, which Emily hasn’t read yet, is definitely lesbian sex coven type material, as Emily has learned from some Pensieve memories. She will no doubt follow in Sofia and Bellatrix’s footsteps and re establish the Slytherin coven, although she might try to get Hermione and Lavender to join the daughters too.
  • Emily’s relationship with other Death Eaters will vary a lot. One thing is that the fragment of Voldemort possessing her soul doesn’t know what his other soul fragment is doing or where it is. He doesn’t want to cause a paradox (if fate and the single timeline is true) but if the Many Worlds are true then that doesn’t matter, hence wanting to read those books.
  • Definite plot involving Cruciatus, but not with Neville. Young Neville is useless to Voldemort and so will be ignored, but Emily has terrible sadness about what Voldemort did.
  • Quidditch, Troll scene are on the horizon. The pan a Christmas interlude, then Unicorn blood and other plot.
