I am not 100% happy with this branch of the story. Many other branches are not that consequential and so you can’t return to the main trunk of the story with Emily none the worse for her experience. This is different. I think I will edit this so that it becomes a dead end branch, one to end the story, so the reader needs to go back and choose again. It keeps the element of risk in the story, which some readers asked for, but also enables me to keep the spirit of the main story as I had intended Emily (talk) 20:36, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
