Talk:Yes/Chad/Just help her with her confidence and see what happens
Hmmm.... she accepted that a little too quick. I am not up for it now, but I think I might come back to this and make it so you need to do a little bit more talking to convince her. Jemini (talk) 04:23, 13 January 2017 (CET)
Maybe I took the freeing nature of suddenly having confidence a little too far with Mina. I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Edit: Wait, are you talking about the superhero thing. I can see that now. She might be excited about meeting someone with powers, but that wouldn't make her suddenly accept the existence of such powers with one demonstration that mentalists have been able to do for ages. --Elerneron (talk) 08:17, 13 January 2017 (CET)
You'd be surprised! For someone who has no friends, thinks very little of themselves and doesn't believe anyone else thinks much of them either it really wouldn't take much to convince them of something they already want to be true (eg the existence of super heroes) --Jackmaster (talk) 10:41, 13 January 2017 (CET)
Actually, I did have that in mind when I made my statement. It still doesn't justify her having absolutely zero skepticism. No one period, whether they are a child, adult, mentally challenged or not would have zero skepticism at such an extraordinary claim even if it was something they really wanted to be true. Wanting it to be true only lowers the bar for how much proof they will need. At any rate, I have finished my re-write, and it is also appropriate to her wanting it to be true.
