Not to sure that brothel thing makes sense, even if she did see those film reels of kids having sex. She would first have to realize that those images of men and girls pressing their privates together was sex. Something which would be more difficult than usual in this town. Then, she would need to realize that a brothel is a place where people go to pay for sex. That's something even kids in regular society don't learn about until they're highschool age. (They might know what a prostitute is, but not what a brothel is.) I imagine it would be even worse in a town like this. Jemini (talk) 19:31, 3 May 2022 (CEST)

With Sawyer being in the fifth grade, she has already taken the sex-ed course, it's not too much of a stretch for her to put two and two together "what the boys have, goes in the girl's hole and it can make a baby. if you do it while not being married, you get sent to the brothel." Sawyer might have overheard someone at her family's restaurant talking about the brothel and what goes on there. --MrPib (talk) 01:18, 4 May 2022 (CEST)
