Highly unlikely.  Dragons only horde precious metals, jewels, and magical artifacts.  If he had any books they would likely be some form of enchanted tome, not a study guide.  Even then enchanted books are not high priority for a dragon's horde.  The Grand Library of Castle Gar would have whole sections on sorcery and its practice.  He just needs to get access (which would take nothing more than him asking about a library at this point in the story).  After that a page could be assigned to get him any books he desired.
Pages are children between 7 and 13 that are on the first part of the path to knighthood.  They serve as messengers and gofers until the age of 14 when they can petition a knight to take them on as a squire.  They remain a squire until the age of 21 when they can petition to become a knight.  This is the actual way it worked in the middle ages, which is the reason that 21 is often considered the age of adulthood in modern society.  --[[User:Elerneron|Elerneron]] ([[User talk:Elerneron|talk]]) 18:25, 12 May 2020 (CEST)

How likely is it that Cinder would have some books on sorcery in his horde? -- Dein0clies (Dein0clies) 6:40 12 May 2020 (EDT)

--Elerneron (talk) 18:25, 12 May 2020 (CEST)
