Interesting, though I'll be reworking how Jody got accepted to the school, as a protagonists of the story, and a very powerful woman in a world filled with magic and super science, I don't feel comfortable with eluding that Allister manipulated the Maredith so easy. I was wanting to add a few "triggers" that would cause some of her her memories to resurface.

Cammy had a troubled childhood, both of her parents were drunks and drug addicts and we're extremely violent. Cammy's only escape was Anime, video games and Manga. One day, her parents got more violent than usual and her mother ended up dead. After her mom died, she took up insert martial art. One day when her father got drunk, he attacked her, she retaliated and the courts deemed that her father's death was in self defense.
