This is likely a vengeance-based story. The MC will have a shitty childhood where everyone treats him poorly, then when he gets his power he gets revenge. I know it's very "Killgrave-like". I've had the idea for Overmind much longer than I ever knew about Jessica Jones and Killgrave.
