After considering it, I did decide to go back and made a decision to delete a few select images that blurred the lines a little too much for my comfort. I just want to make sure things are well outside the line of what could bring legal scrutiny. --[[User:Hgcollins|Hgcollins]] ([[User talk:Hgcollins|talk]]) 06:19, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
It may be wise to add clarification in regards to what is considered "New"

I forgot to specify that these rules will be in affect for all NEW AI generated image uploads only. I will not be going through older images (mine included) to make sure they conform to the rules. Old images will be grandfathered into the site in the same manner the forum did when they adopted these rules. I just wanted to make sure that’s clear so I don’t inadvertently cause a panic. --Hgcollins (talk) 01:06, 27 March 2024 (UTC)

Would wrapping the paragraph on the Main Page in a box, to make it more noticeable, be a good idea? (Taken from the "Site Notice" template. Red was too jarring, so I used "salmon" instead)

NOTICE: New site rules are in effect for all AI image uploads. Please read them before uploading and reach out to site admins with any questions or concerns. Thank you, -HG

Just noticed that you used affect instead of effect, so I fixed my box.

"New rules in effect, pics already uploaded will not be affected.

It may be wise to add clarification in regards to what is considered "New"

EFFECTIVE March 26 2024 All new AI generated image uploads after this date, must abide by the rules outlined below

Then mention something about the images that are already uploaded

AI generated images that were previously uploaded to the website, prior to the enforcement of these new rules, will be allowed to remain on the site. Due note, any grandfathered image may be removed at any time and for any reason, at the Staff's discretion.

If you add the date, you can easily amend the rules with another date. (Any content uploaded under the old rules, wouldn't be removed by the new rules.)
